Family Dispute Resolution (Parenting)

At Monarda we recognise that parents are the experts in their families, but that sometimes, even experts need some support to have uncomfortable conversations.

Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) is all about an empowering and facilitative conversation aimed at negotiating the best outcomes for children.

The FDR package consists of a 1-hour individual appointment for each parent, a swift invitation process and a 4-hour joint session mediation, primarily delivered via Team, unless otherwise requested by parties.

A Parenting Plan will be completed at the conclusion of the session, recording any agreements made inclusive of the package. Legal drafting to assist in consent order application is also available at an additional cost.

At Mondarda Mediations we are all accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners (FDRPs), should a resolution not be reached in mediation, a Section 60i Certificate can be issued to support families in their next step at the conclusion of the matter.
